Ty Jackson's interest in tax preparation started at age 14, when he began distributing fliers for a local tax service. He went on to earn an accounting degree from Cal State Long Beach and completed specialized coursework before launching his career in finance.
In 2003, Jackson opened a mortgage brokerage service. Following regulatory changes in 2007, he shifted his focus to tax preparation and accounting — founding Providence Accounting Group in Downtown Los Angeles.
Today, Providence operates out of the US Bank Tower in DTLA, providing full-service accounting to the Los Angeles community. Ty's philosophy is simple: "Managing money is as important as earning it."
